Shipping & Returns

Almost everything we supply is manufactured against a specific order — your tube diameter, your arm length, your hole pattern, your board. We do not hold finished stock of most items.

That shapes everything below, particularly the section on returns. Please read it before placing an order rather than after.

Every quotation states a lead time for that order. As a guide, machined structural parts typically run [ 2–3 weeks ], electronics [ 3–4 weeks ], and build-to-print work is quoted per job.

Lead time starts when the order is confirmed and the drawing or specification is frozen — not when the enquiry is first raised. Changes to the specification after that point will move the date, and we will tell you by how much before we proceed.

Domestic orders within India are dispatched by [ courier / surface freight ] from Bengaluru. International orders are dispatched by [ air freight / courier ].

Unless the quotation says otherwise, our prices are [ Ex-Works, Bengaluru ] and freight is charged at cost or arranged on your carrier account. Tell us at the quotation stage if you have a preferred forwarder.

We send tracking details on dispatch. Delivery dates given by a carrier are estimates and are outside our control.

Parts are packed to survive normal freight handling — anodised surfaces protected, machined faces separated, electronics in anti-static packaging. If your inbound goods process needs particular packing, labelling or documentation, tell us before dispatch and we will accommodate it where we can.

Domestic orders are invoiced with GST at the applicable rate. For international orders, any import duty, customs clearance charge or local tax is the buyer's responsibility unless the quotation expressly says otherwise.

Please inspect the consignment when it arrives, before signing a clear receipt where the carrier allows it.

Report any transit damage, shortage or wrong item to contact@vyuhsystems.com within [ 7 ] days of delivery, with photographs of the packaging and the goods. Carriers routinely reject damage claims raised later than that, so this window matters.

Where we have short-shipped or sent the wrong item, we correct it at our cost.

Made-to-order and custom-specification parts are not returnable for change of mind, incorrect ordering, or a change in your project. Once metal is cut to your dimensions the part has no other customer. We would rather say this plainly here than argue it later.

You may return an item where:

• it does not match the specification in the accepted quotation or the approved drawing;
• it has a manufacturing or material defect;
• we sent the wrong item.

In those cases we repair, replace or credit the item at our cost, including return freight. Contact us first for a returns reference before sending anything back — unannounced returns are difficult for us to identify and process.

We warrant our goods against defects in workmanship and materials for [ 12 ] months from the date of dispatch.

The warranty does not cover fair wear, crash or impact damage, corrosion from operating environments outside the agreed specification, modification or machining carried out after delivery, or failure caused by fitting the part outside its stated compatibility.

Our liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement or credit of the affected item.

An order may be cancelled without charge at any time before we begin manufacture. Once material has been committed or machining has started, cancellation is charged at cost incurred to that point, and we will tell you what that figure is before you decide.

Payment terms are set out on the quotation. New customers are typically [ 100% advance ]; established accounts may be offered [ 50% advance, balance before dispatch ] or agreed credit terms.

Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within [ 14 ] working days of agreement.

Some of what we make is used in defence-adjacent applications. We supply subject to Indian export control and end-use rules, and we may ask for end-user information before accepting certain international orders. We reserve the right to decline an order on those grounds.
